Earthquake rocks Turkey and Syria

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake, followed by a magnitude 7.5 tremor has killed more than 2,600 people in southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria, injuring thousands of others and causing widespread destruction.

The quakes and aftershocks toppled buildings and sent rescuers scrambling through the rubble to find survivors as temperatures in the region are plummeting into almost single digits tonight.

There is no real blog post here, just a request that you join me in praying for these people, their families and the responders that are battling so many obstacles in such bitter cold.
